Chad Olshavsky, known as ChadO, is a writer and stand-up comedian blending dark humor with sharp storytelling. He’s the author of RoomMate: The Novel, a chilling psychological thriller, and the creator of Stevie J’s Life Lessons, a not-for-kids picture book series inspired by his stand-up comedy.
Originally an optioned screenwriter, Chad made his mark in Hollywood before pivoting to novels and material that complements his comedy. He’s also written parts of Memoirs of a Hollywood Addict, an unfiltered look at his life behind the scenes. In 2013, he created The Box, a short film about a mad scientist mortician searching for love, earning praise for its emotional depth. Before that, he wrote Playmates, a short horror film starring his two kids. Earlier still, he wrote and directed his debut short film, Be Still.
While making people laugh on stage keeps him grounded, Chad’s true passion lies in crafting horror and mystery stories that leave a lasting impression.
